MBABANE – Award-winning Gospel musician Nothando Hlophe’s popular song ‘Methodist Medley’ has hit 2 million views on YouTube.

The song recently hit 1 million views, showing its popularity among music lovers, it continues to unlock more possibilities for the Gospel powerhouse.

After reaching the massive views on YouTube, Hlophe expressed her excitement encouraging fans to keep on streaming her music.

“Wow. Thank you to every single person who streamed, shared and worshipped with us, your love and support mean the world. Let’s keep spreading the message and the music,” she said.

In an interview with Phindokuhle Sithole, who is Nothando Hlophe’s Manager, he expressed his excitement about the success of the song stating that, “This achievement is a beautiful affirmation of Nothando’s impact and calling. Reaching new chart peaks and record-breaking streaming numbers proves that her music continues to touch hearts on a deep level. It shows that Gospel music, especially from Eswatini, has the power to move people far beyond national borders. It’s a celebration not only of her artistry but also of God’s faithfulness through her journey,” he said.

He elaborated that the audience received the album in a way they did not even imagine, stating: “The reception has been beyond expectations.

“From the first single to the live performances, people have connected emotionally and spiritually with every song.

“It’s clear that the album met people where they were offered comfort, inspiration, and renewal. The feedback has been humbling and it confirms that A New Dawn came at the perfect time” he said.

The powerful song from her recent album, A New Dawn, continues its compelling ascent, the track, a vibrant and soul-stirring blend of classic hymns and contemporary Gospel elements, hit Number 73 on the South Africa Spotify Daily Top Songs chart on, accumulating  37 850 streams  in a single day, according to chart data.

This performance marks a new daily peak for Hlophe on the platform, showcasing the immense and dedicated support from her audience across the region, particularly within South Africa.

Nothando is in a very defining chapter of her career. She has broken personal records, reached new audiences across Southern Africa and continues to set new standards for excellence in Gospel music.
