MBABANE – United Kingdom versatile producer Jimpster will perform in Eswatini for the first time during the upcoming Unleash The Wolf event.
The show is scheduled for December 7 at Oryx Restaurant and Lounge and is organised by award-winning local producer and musician !Sooks, who is based in South Africa, alongside reputable local record label Antidote Music. !Sooks confirmed that Jimpster will be performing in Eswatini for the first time, emphasising that fans of good music must not miss this event.
For the first time in Eswatini, we bring you legendary UK producer Jimpster.
The iconic Deep-House craftsman is set to light up Unleash The Wolf Eswatini with his timeless groove-heavy and soulfully textured soundtracks. You do not want to miss this wolf pack. Phase one tickets are almost sold out, so get yours now, he said. He added that fans should expect the best from Jimpster. People should anticipate a lot of fun. It is Jimpster’s first visit here, so he is also excited and ready to perform, he said.
Jimpster is a British Deep-House producer and DJ. Together with Tom Roberts, he founded the labels Freerange Records and Delusions of Grandeur. While producing his own tracks and playing live shows, Jimpster has also worked on remixes, including a remix of the song 400 Years by Bob Marley.
Born into a musical family, Jimpster was influenced and encouraged by his father Roger Odell, who is the drummer in the jazz-funk band Shakatak. It was there that he was first exposed to electronic synthesisers and recording equipment at around age 10.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time a UK musician has performed in Africa. UK-based musicians like James Bay toured South Africa in March 2025. Additionally, the UK’s K.O.G (Kings of the City) performed in Accra, Ghana, in early February 2025.
This year’s event will also feature local acts such as Ndumz and !Sooks. The ‘Unleash The Wolf’ editions have also recently taken Johannesburg by storm, hosting artists such as Chronical Deep, TimAdeep, Shay, KVRVBO and Nana Zulu, among others.
