MBABANE - A wide range of motor vehicles, industrial equipment and commercial assets will go under the hammer at an upcoming public auction.

The auction offers businesses and individuals an opportunity to acquire valuable items at competitive prices.

The auction, organised by Rexy’s Investments (Pty) Ltd duly instructed by clients, is set to take place on Thursday, at 10:30am.

The venue is Lot 613, Shiselweni Avenue, opposite Matsapha Central Garage, next to the EswatiniBank Warehouse, Warehouse No.2.

Among the highlights of the auction is an extensive list of motor vehicles catering to both private buyers and commercial operators. These include utility vehicles such as a 2014 Isuzu 2.4 4x4 double cab, a 2014 Mahindra Bolero and a 2012 Mazda BT50 single cab 4x4, all of which are well-suited for business and agricultural use.

Also featured are passenger vehicles like a 2005 Honda Jazz, a 2008 BMW 523i and a 2019 Hyundai Tucson N-Series, appealing to buyers looking for more personal transport options. A 2003 Mercedes-Benz C270 CDI (local model) is also listed, alongside a 2008 Nissan Navara and a 2013 Mahindra XUV500.

Boost for hospitality, retail sectors

MBABANE - The auction is also expected to benefit entrepreneurs in the hospitality and food service sectors, with a wide range of restaurant equipment up for grabs.

Items include display fridges, chip fryers, standard fryers, steel tables, under-counter refrigeration units, bar stools and table sets.

Other items such as food warmers, outdoor wooden tables, cutlery and lounge sofa sets further expand the offering, making it possible for buyers to fully equip or upgrade restaurants, cafés or catering businesses at potentially reduced costs.

Beyond hospitality, the auction also features office furniture and electronics, including filing cabinets, desks, chairs, computers, printers and laptops. These items are expected to attract both start-ups and established businesses seeking affordable office solutions.

Construction and industrial operators are also likely to benefit, with equipment such as concrete mixers, breakers, float turners, compactors, plate compactors, water pumps and generators included in the sale.

This broad mix stresses the auction’s appeal across multiple sectors of the economy, from construction and logistics to retail and professional services. In a notable addition, the auction will also include 114 units of 550W Astroenergy Tier 1 mono solar panels. With energy costs remaining a key concern for businesses, the availability of solar infrastructure is expected to draw attention from companies and households looking to invest in renewable energy solutions.
