MBABANE – A true legend.
That is the only way to describe former Manzini Wanderers and now Corporation All Stars player, Mpumelelo ‘Tsera’ Zwane, who has won himself a 30-day meal voucher at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
This offer is courtesy of the Alliance Group partner, S’thofeni Ginindza. The announcement was made on Friday during a prize presentation of one of the tournaments under the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) played under the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA).
Zwane had already been named Player of the Series, for which he was awarded a 5 000-litre JoJo water tank. Ginindza added to this reward, saying he was offering the player a meal to collect from a KFC outlet every day for the next month.
While the specific meal package was not disclosed, it was said that the legend will be able to collect his food from his nearest KFC eatery. It was further stated that full details regarding when the player will begin his month of ‘finger-lickin’ reward will be activated once all logistics have been finalised.
It is worth noting that this type of incentive appears to be a first for local football tournaments, as players typically receive cash prizes rather than meal vouchers. Worth noting is that ‘Tsera’ steered his team to a championship of the competition.
