MBABANE – The Talent n Motion Academy dancers have officially departed the country to represent Eswatini at the prestigious Dance World Cup finals in Dublin, Ireland.
The global competition is scheduled to take place at the Dublin Convention Centre.
The academy’s representatives expressed immense appreciation to the wider community and sponsors who funded the trip.
"Our Talent n Motion Academy dancers have officially taken off and we are carrying the pride of the entire nation with us all the way to the Dance World Cup finals in Dublin Ireland. The Dance World Cup will be taking place at the Dublin Convention Centre. This dream journey would never have been possible without the unbelievable village of people standing firmly behind us. We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to those who made this historic trip a reality."
The academy extended specific acknowledgements to government bodies, royalty and corporate sponsors for their contributions toward the international campaign.

The delegation further thanked the parents and local music producers who assisted the team in preparing for the world stage.

Umuti Ngwenya (Claiming ground records); A massive shoutout for stepping in to mix and master our music so our girls can absolutely own the big stage! The full squad is comprised of a total of 10 dancers who will be representing the kingdom. According to their Coach, Velile Dube, four of the dancers were photographed departing from the airport ahead of their scheduled performances. These dancers are Kuhlekwethu Zwane, Kitso Makgeledisa, Wenziwe Mtshali and Elihle Masinga.
According to Dube the remaining members of the team are travelling in staggered intervals due to differing competition schedules.
"They are 10 in total. Nkosinemusa Gumedze is already in Ireland with her Mum, then Elihle was travelling with her mom, we met at the airport and she is already in Ireland as well. Siphosethu Mlotsa, Nalo Nkambule, Ndalolenhle Ntshalintshali, Asande Gama and Mukelwe Kunene are joining us at a later stage because they are competing next week...Nkosinemusa Gumedze and Elihle Masinga are competing tomorrow," she said.
