MATSAPHA – Jesus Calls Worship Centre is preparing to host ‘The Outpouring 2025’, a worship night that the organisers believe will serve as a catalyst for spiritual revival across the kingdom.
The event, driven by the church’s youth ministry, is free to the public and features acclaimed regional and local Gospel artists.
The worship night, which builds on the success of last year’s inaugural event, is scheduled to take place at the Jesus Calls Worship Centre in Matsapha, opposite VOCTIM College, beginning promptly at 6pm.
The vision for ‘The Outpouring’ originated from the church’s focus on worship and prayer, which are core pillars of its youth ministry, Gideon’s Army JC. The event’s title is directly inspired by scripture, aligning with a belief in current end-times prophecy.
Pastor Jude Kasaro explained the biblical motivation behind the title: “We believe that we’re in the last days, preparing for the greatest and last move of God before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible says in the book of Joel 2:28 ‘And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh,’ Thus, when we dubbed it ‘The Outpouring,’ we were aligning, agreeing and confessing what God wants to do in the days we’re in.”
The event’s purpose is not to compete, but to complement the broader Gospel body. Pastor Kasaro noted: “We believe that every show or event that is Gospel based, seeks to glorify Jesus. So, I wouldn’t say we are different because the body is united. But our role in this unified body is to set men on fire for Jesus, win souls and to be the catalyst for revival for the people who attend the worship nights.”
“The goal for the event’s impact is sweeping change: “A revived church, a revived city and a revived nation,” declared Pastor Kasaro.
