MBABANE – The past weekend saw four distinguished choirs secure their places in the Tiro Mpane Foundation National Choral Eisteddfod Finals.

The Eswatini regional eliminations, held at the Esibayeni Lodge on October 12, showcased exceptional talent, resulting in a triumphant moment for the qualifying choirs. The heartfelt performances saw one choir in the Standard category and three in the large category advance to the national stage. These choirs will now represent the kingdom in the finals, set to take place on December 20 and 21 in Rustenburg, Sun City, South Africa.

In the Standard category, the spotlight shone brightly on Pure Voices, who delivered a compelling performance to earn a coveted spot in the December finals. Their victory demonstrates the depth of talent emerging within Eswatini’s smaller Choral groups, ready to compete against the best in the region. Qualifying choirs had to be above 75 points.
