LUCKY ESCAPE FOR 5 PUPILS AS BUS BURNS
MBABANE – Five pupils are lucky to be alive after a raging fire almost claimed their lives.
The five pupils, who are all reportedly from one of the private schools in the Manzini region, escaped with minor injuries after their school bus mysteriously and unexpectedly went ablaze yesterday.
Reports of the fire were confirmed by Deputy Police Information and Communications Officer Assistant Superintendent Nosipho Mnguni, in an interview yesterday.
Mnguni said the bus caught fire with five pupils on board. She said they all survived with minor bruises and did not require to be taken to hospital. She said at the moment it had not been established how the fire came to be or on which part of the bus it started from.
