LOBAMBA – The youth is so deep into pornography and abortion that divine intervention might be the only solution.

This was the view of a South African church leader introduced as Bishop Sizabantu from Shongwe Mission. He was speaking during the Easter services at Somhlolo National Stadium on Sunday.

Bishop Sizabantu said young people were so deep into pornography to the extent that they did not sleep without viewing or watching ‘x-rated’ material. He added that other young people were troubled by drugs and could not find their way out of them.

He said the youth needed saving and implored religious leaders to play their part in this regard. “Some women have lost count of the number of babies they have aborted but I guarantee you, God knows the exact number,” Bishop Sizabantu said.
The Zulu speaking bishop labelled women who aborted as murderers. He said they had blood in their hands as they had taken away innocent lives.

He said this caused them sleepless nights and asked them to pray for forgiveness. He said they should admit to God that they were murderers and needed forgiveness.
Bishop Sizabantu had a message for pastors as well. He said many souls needed saving and church leaders need not fight each other over congregants but save lost souls.

During his sermon, he shared the story of Simon Peter, who did not catch any fish after long hours of casting his net in the sea. He said nothing was wrong with the net but the problem was that he was fishing in the wrong place.

Bishop Sizabantu said preachers needed to cast their nets in the right place, just as Simon Peter eventually did. He said as was the case with the disciple, the preachers would also definitely catch fish if they heeded to Jesus’ instructions.
