There were many wrongs at SAPPI

Sir,

This is just a highlight of the wrongs at SAPPI Usutu or Usutu Pulp.

There is saying that goes ‘good things come to an end’, this is the end of the poor managed economy of Swaziland due to lack of vision and practice of ancestors obligations.

Sir allow me to talk about the SAPPI issue, in 1995 to 1996 if my memory serves me well our King Mswati III cut the sod at Usutu Pulp for the upgrade of the mill but today SAPPI is calling the shots to government. This is due to the wrongs at SAPPI, how can I explain this?

All of the present Cabinet ministers are being brainwashed in this matter.

Broke

SAPPI owes us E408 million and nobody cares about the tax that we will be paying to this broke government if SAPPI is pushed hard in order to pay us.

Just a friendly warning, winter is just around the corner. Asisito tidlamlilo as the prime minister perceives anyone who tries to reason with his government, we are Swazis and we have only one eSwatini and one lovely king of whom we love and respect.

Mr Editor this country is going down the drain due to our present government, how can the labour minister fail to ask for qualifications of one of the SAPPI managers?

Failed

We understand one of them allegedly had no qualifications and that’s why SAPPI failed in Swaziland. If only the king could give me his powers for 48 hours so I could fire those in Cabinet and Parliament.

And lastly Mr Editor, the fires in 2008 were financed by the fact that the fire department was privatised in 2005 when the GM took over. How can an essential service provider be privatised?

And the very same company was paid E7 million for a job well done in November 2008 despite that the fire that destroyed the lives of many Swazis.

Mr Editor (tinhlitiyo tethu tigaya tiboti ngalesento lesi) but God will fight this one for us one day soon.

Thank you Mr Editor and may God bless you.

Mayizane
