MBABANE – STANLIB Eswatini has once again rekindled its long-standing fruitful relationship with Oyama.

This was revealed during the official launch of the STANLIB Oyama Champ of Champs tournament slated for November 1 at Mavuso Sports Centre Emporium. The event was staged at the STANLIB Eswatini offices situated at Sibekelo Building in Mbabane yesterday noon.

Head of Business Development Muziwanele Manyathi unveiled a E35 000 cheque allocated towards the eagerly-awaited competition. He was alongside Business Development Manager Mkhosi Mbhamali.

“We feel proud to see that in Eswatini such a sport is being taken seriously. It is one that is also adding value to the nation of Eswatini. It gives us pleasure as STANLIB that we are able to also partake in adding value to the Kingdom of Eswatini. Not only in the investment perspective which is the core of our business but also the sporting fraternity. We are very much appreciative and excited about the initiative that Oyama comes with. This Champ of Champs competition is one that we feel proud to be part of,” he remarked. Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) Business Development Manager Zama Tsabedze lauded the initiative. He was representing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Darius Dlomo and read his written speech.
