MBABANE – You reap what you sow!

This sentiment was evident after Alliance Foods presented excelling schools in the 2025 Scara Thindwa/KFC Soccer Foundation tournament with football equipment worth E155 493. The presentation was held yesterday at the Matsapha Lifestyle Centre. Alliance Foods (Pty) Ltd is the sole franchisee for the KFC brand in Eswatini.

The event was attended by Nigel England, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alliance Foods; Absalom ‘Scara’ Thindwa, the Foundation’s founder; CEO of the Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) Darius Dlomo; Zakhele Myeni, President of the Eswatini Schools Sports Association (ESSA); representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training; as well as teachers and pupils.

England thanked and congratulated the schools for the good sportsmanship they displayed during the games. He stated that the partners of the Scara Thindwa Soccer Foundation were delighted to keep their promise by presenting the football equipment to the deserving schools.

The legendary Thindwa acknowledged the collaborative effort that made the 2025 edition of the Scara Thindwa/KFC Foundation Soccer Tournament a success, emphasising the foundation’s core values of discipline, respect, teamwork and purpose.

The former Kaizer Chiefs striker positioned the foundation as a bridge between talent and opportunity for the future stars of local football.
