MANZINI – The Shiselweni Region will host this year’s Miss Teen Grand Finale.

This was announced by Pageants Eswatini Chairman Tony Dlamini, while revealing that they have announced this year’s Miss Teen Manzini top five. The five young girls who made it through to the Miss Teen Manzini eliminations were revealed on Saturday. The five girls who advanced are Angel Zubuko, Seluleko Masuku, Nonhle Kunene, Bayanda Dube and Malivan Macu.

Dlamini shared that the eliminations were a success, while also reminding followers of the competition that the Manzini Region is the custodian of the prestigious Miss Teen title. “It was a successful event and we had a lot of contestants on the day. They will now compete at the national level where they will face off with contestants from other regions. Shiselweni will be the host of the Miss Teen grand finale this year,” Dlamini said.

He further shared that they are looking forward to an intense contest as the judges ensured that the selected young girls met the required standards. “We are looking forward to an intense competition. The height, which has been selected this year shows us that the contest will be close. We are grateful to the sponsors and parents from Manzini. We are appealing to our sponsors to continue supporting the aspiring pageant queens. The contestants are welcome to join the Umhlanga regiment and rehearsals will start tomorrow. We expect all contestants to participate in the rehearsals,” he said.
