MBABANE – Amapiano star Zee Nxumalo’s hit single ‘Ngisakuthanda’ has officially been certified triple platinum.

This achievement signifies a massive success for the artist, with sales and streams exceeding 120 000 units.

The news stands as a powerful testament to Nxumalo’s growing influence within the South African music scene.

Although she has been making waves for some time, ‘Ngisakuthanda’ has proven to be a defining track, resonating deeply with audiences and dominating the charts since its release.

The song, a collaboration with PYY Log Drum King DJ Tearz and producers Dr Thulz and TBO, has become a fan favourite, its infectious rhythms and soulful vocals driving its sustained success.

She also posted on her Facebook page, stating that ‘Still need the 250 thousand,’ suggesting an aim for higher levels.

According to the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA), updated certification levels for singles require a minimum of 40 000 units sold or streamed for a platinum award.
