As the new year unfolds, many believers pause to reflect, reset and realign their lives with God’s purpose. The beginning of a year is more than a change of dates; it is an opportunity for spiritual renewal, fresh vision and deeper consecration.

It is in this spirit that Voice of the Church, in partnership with Destiny Music, invites Christians across Eswatini to a powerful 2026 Beginning of the Year All-Night Prayer, set to usher believers into the year with prayer, worship and the Word.

The all-night prayer gathering will take place today, from 6pm to 6am at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre Arena, promising a full night of intense intercession, teaching and worship.

Anchored under the theme ‘Raising an Altar for the Lord in Eswatini’ drawn from 2 Samuel 24:18, the gathering calls believers to rebuild spiritual altars in their personal lives, families, churches and the nation at large.

The mandate of the service is 1 Timothy 2:1 which reads: “I urge, then, first, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good and pleases God our Savior.”

He added that since 2015, VOC hosts such a prayer every first Friday of the year, where all church bodies gather to pray for their Majesties and the nation at large.
