MBABANE - Renewable energy equipment featuring new advanced solar systems with Tesla Powerwall batteries will headline the massive United States Embassy auction sale scheduled for next Wednesday.

The auction, which will be conducted by Rexy’s Investments (Pty) Ltd, is scheduled for June 3, 2026, at the US Embassy premises in Kent Rock, Mbabane, starting at 10am.

Among the headline items are two complete brand-new solar energy systems, each consisting of 36 solar panels and a full range of supporting equipment.

Each set includes one Gateway with N-Phase technology, three Tesla Powerwall batteries, an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), 36 micro inverters, 36 AC cables and 36 roof strips.

The inclusion of the advanced solar equipment comes at a time when renewable energy solutions continue to gain momentum in Eswatini as households and businesses seek alternative power sources to reduce electricity costs and improve energy security.

Apart from the solar systems, the auction will feature a range of motor vehicles previously used by the embassy. These include a 2014 Isuzu, two 2015 Toyota Fortuners and a 2019 Ford Figo.

Furniture and household appliances will also go under the hammer, including double bed bases, a single bed headboard, nightstands, lamps, refrigerators, a dryer, washing machine, microwave and electric oven.

Other items listed for sale include industrial power generators, Jojo water tanks, printers, monitors, UPS units, laptops, cellphones, air conditioners, lawn mowers and various maintenance equipment.

Interested bidders will be required to pay a refundable registration deposit of E5 000 for vehicles and E2 000 for other items.  The deposits can be paid at Rexy’s Investments offices located at Lot 613, Shiselweni Avenue, Warehouse Number Two opposite Matsapha Central Garage or on the day of the sale at the embassy grounds from 8am.

Members of the public will also have an opportunity to inspect the items during a viewing session scheduled for June 2, 2026, at the US Embassy compound in Kent Rock between 10am and 3:30pm.

For more information, interested bidders can contact Rexy’s Investments at 7603 3360/7903 3360.
