MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows legend Stanford Ncube is investing in future stars.

Ncube has started an academy for children in an effort to help them realise their football dreams. The former ‘Birds’ attacking midfielder announced the launch of the academy-styled Wingo Sports  on his official Facebook page on Sunday. Ncube conducts training sessions at the Casino Sports Ground in Ezulwini.  He has urged parents and youngsters that have a passion for the sporting code to join the academy. “This will ensure they enhance their skill and knowledge of the sport from a young age,” Ncube said.

He shared that he got satisfied when nurturing young players, aiding them in honing their football and leadership skills. He said Wingo Sports Academy was not solely about excelling in competitions, but also focused on shaping exemplary individuals for their future endeavours. “All that soccer-playing or passionate children need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them,” Ncube said.
