MBABANE – Challenging as it may be, but home training has its unique benefits.

Many people are used to exercising in a gym set-up at the disposal of various machines and equipment or even go for long runs with a group of friends. All that has been sanctioned due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now that the country is on partial lockdown, home training is ideal for keeping fit and healthy. As hard as it may be, exercising at home is highly beneficial.

Home training saves time.
There are no travelling costs included or waiting for machines or equipment in a crowded gym.
There are no gym fees or expensive equipment needed and you can use anything available at home. You can work out anytime following your own schedule no matter the time of day or night.

Fitness enthusiast, Xolile Dlamini who is a registered member at Blast and Burn Transformation Studio owned by bodybuilder Arnaldo Barbosa, said being compelled to exercise at home posed challenges for her but instead of complaining, she took advantage of the time and exercises in her backyard using a pair of dumbbells, a DIY push-up bar and incorporates strength training.
