MANZINI POOL PICK TEAM WINS E2 000

MBABANE – They walked away with the E2 000 champion’s prize. May Day was made special for Manzini Black Ball Open Pool Singles League pick team yesterday when they claimed the pick teams’ tournament championship.

This was after they dethroned the defending champions, Mbabane Express Car Wash Pool Singles League team, 13-8. The game was played at Manzini Pool Club yesterday. The defending champions had sworn to retain their title but unfortunately fell prey to their rivals.

Mbabane team members were Mbabane Express Car Wash League log leader, Dodge Matsebula and league rivals; France Mashaba, Makhosini Mthupha, Bobo Hlophe and Bandiswa Dlamini.

Mbabane Express Car Wash Pool Singles League coordinator Sandile Mamba said they would host the return leg of the tournament next week at Mbabane Express Car Wash.

The winning team’s members were: Menzi Ngomane, Celumusa Dlamini, Siyabonga Dlamini, Ntozakhe Lukhele and Flag Nxumalo, while Nqaba Lukhele and Sifiso Dlamini played as substitutes.
