MBABANE - The country’s biggest football fixture, the capital city derby between Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows billed for this Sunday, has 8 000 presale tickets out.
This is 4 000 less than the sold out 12 000 Ingwenyama Cup final tickets over a fortnight ago.

“They’ve already gone on sale since noon today (yesterday) at E40 each and people can do what they did for Ingwenyama Cup final; buy the tickets as soon as possible and they will have no headache come Sunday,” confirmed Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Simanga Nhleko.

Nhleko said the hosting teams, Highlanders and Green Mamba, advised them to start with 8 000 and see how it goes between yesterday and Saturday morning. Green Mamba host Manzini Wanderers as it is a double header and a Y’ello Sunday for the sponsor MTN Eswatini to market its services and liaise with the fans.

The 8 000 tickets amount to E320 000 if sold out and it is possible given the two teams’ title race challenge and quality they both ooze as well as the first round 3-1 score line suffered by Highlanders in the first round while Green Mamba won 1-0 to Wanderers.
