MBABANE – The approaching month of April will belong to the EswatiniBank Cup 2019. Fans will witness the quarter-finals of the tournament as of April 6 and 7 and the semi-finals the following weekend.

“On April 6 and 7, we return to Solo Inje with our quarter-finals then we’ll have the semis following weekend before we have the final but we’re yet to confirm dates after the Easter holidays,” confirmed EswatiniBank PRO Phesheya Vilakati yesterday.

Vilakati said the eight remaining sides, being Young Buffaloes, Royal Leopard, Matsapha United, Green Mamba, Manzini Sundowns, Vovovo, Mbabane Swallows and Malanti Chiefs were going to be presented with new sponsor tournament branded kits.
“We’re yet to decide on the day but that’s going to happen, as well as our quarter-finals draw. There’s going to be a lot happening as the tournament nears its end, like roadshows,” he said.

roadshows

He said they would have roadshows in some of the towns around the country like Pigg’s Peak, Nhlangano as well as the cities Mbabane and Manzini. He also added that members of the public would also get to know more about the bank’s promotion of the Prepaid and Debit Cards while encouraging them to go to the nearest EswatiniBank branch and get these cards to keep their money safe.

Each fortnight that passes by has three individual cash prizes for fans and E20 000 for the team with the most fans using either card or will soon present them with their prizes. On the final, he said they were going to announce the date once all stakeholders had agreed on it. The draw is expected early next week.
