MANZINI – A woman was beheaded during a kombi and bus accident.
The deceased’s particulars could not be ascertained as she had no identity documents with her. The kombi is currently kept at the Siphofaneni Police Station.

Information gathered is that the accident occurred yesterday at 12pm at Mphosi and was caused by a vehicle which reportedly applied brakes in the middle of the road forcing the kombi to come to a sudden stop.

The bus rammed into the kombi, crushing the kombi passenger.
The source further said another woman who was also unidentified was rushed to the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital (RFM) and is in a critical condition.

No one was injured inside the bus and the driver of the sedan is currently on the police wanted list.
Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Wendy Hleta, confirmed the accident and said the driver of the sedan is wanted by the police.
Superintendent Hleta also condemned the driver’s behaviour and said the police were against irresponsible drivers especially those who escaped after allegedly causing accidents in a bid to evade arrests.

“The driver of the sedan is wanted as per allegations from both drivers of the other vehicles that he is alleged to have caused the accident,” Hleta said.
