MATSAPHA – His Majesty King Mswati III flew out of the country for Nigeria using a rented jet despite that his private jet is back.
His Majesty left the country yesterday to attend Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari’s inauguration.

The King has been using a rented jet after his private jet was impounded in Canada where it had gone for a routine service.
While the country was making means of getting the King’s private jet, Members of Parliament (MPs) said the King should get another one. They said the one which was impounded in Canada would no longer be safe for him as no one knew what had been done to it.

When it came back to the country, former Manzini Regional Administrator (RA) Prince Masitsela said experts should be assigned to inspect the King’s jet.

The King jetted out of the country yesterday at 1:50pm and he was accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMotsa, who was accompanying the King on a second consecutive trip following the recent trip to the Republic of China on Taiwan.
Buhari, who defeated Goodluck Jonathan in elections two months ago, will be sworn in at a ceremony today before world leaders and other dignitaries.

Among those who have confirmed attendance are South African president Jacob Zuma, US Secretary of State John Kerry and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, among others.

Those who bade farewell to the King included royal family members; Inkhosikati LaMahlangu, Princess Sikhanyiso and Prince Sicalo, among others.

Prime Minister Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini, together with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala, Minister of Home Affairs Princess Tsandzile and Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Gideon Dlamini were also present.
