AN OPEN LETTER TO PROPHET NKOSINGPHILE DLAMINI

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

I would like to respond to the article which appeared in the Times of Swaziland dated 29 April, titled ‘I will make them drink petrol’.
It is high time we call Nkosingiphile Dlamini to order as a Christian community.

What he is doing is very wrong, misleading and unGodly.
In Matthew 24:11, Jesus warned that in the last days many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:24: “For there shall arise a false christ and false prophets and they shall show great signs and wonders; so much that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect”.

Nkosingiphile, you have elevated yourself to the position of God by allowing your followers to refer to you as God on earth. When you arrive at church, a red carpet is rolled out for you and you are escorted and worshipped like a god.
You perform miracles that make the people fear and idolise you.

You have been making people eat grass, fall asleep, get drunk, etc, and then you tell them that Jesus also changed water to wine and also walked on water.
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul spoke about the different gifts of the spirit, among which are the performing of miracles. He said the gifts were to be used to edify or build the body of Christ (the church). Now, how do your so-called miracles edify the church?

Secondly, the gifts of the spirit are for meeting needs in the church. Jesus changed water into wine, but it was because the wine in the wedding got finished before the wedding party was over (John 2:3). In John 16:16-19 Jesus walked on the water but not for the fun of it - he needed to get to his disciples who had left ahead of him to get to Capernaum. So again, there was a need here Mr Nkosingiphile.

Your miracles do not fit into the aforementioned categories and hence they are no different from magic performances.
I have had the privilege of watching one of your videos and I have witnessed the power of hypnosis at work. Your followers are made to believe they are sheep and they start to jump around making sheep sounds, before running out to eat grass. You also hypnotise your followers into a deep sleep in the middle of a service.

That is why all your miracles glorify you and not God (Yahweh). You have to stop now.
Lastly, I would like to send a warning to the church to stop running after miracles because, in 2 Corinthians 11:14, the Bible says Satan transforms himself into an angel of light.

It is possible for false prophets to perform miracles and that is why Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-23: “Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name cast out demons? And in your name done many wonderful things? And then I will say unto them, I never knew you: depart from me you workers of iniquity’.”

I encourage all born-again Christians to read the Bible and know the truth, so as to avoid being deceived by these so-called prophets labagcwele live lonkhe. All they are after is your money and there is no truth in what they say or do. Run away from them.

Pastor  Celani Mhlanga, Mbabane

so he will make them drink petrol and what will he achieve by that? How will the congregants benefit from the petrol they would have drunk? And lastly how does it benefit/serve God?
You know if I had a choice I would rather the CJ arrested these pastors than boMaseko.

Pastor Mhlanga... Not 2 disrespect u sir but God had a plan since creation... He made man is His image, remember? Not as just part of it. Faith is to be respected, how dare u attack the Prophet's faith whilst u claim 2 be a man of God? Where was yours varified? Do tell bcos u seem now 2 be working against your fellow brother... Your duty as I know is spreading the gospel not proving 2 people that u knows the bible more than other preachers of the gospel. U might be good in theory, let those gifted in visible/practical work do so without u putting doubt in our minds as believers, what then if his(Prophet Dlamini's) is God's way of living the word? then aren't u the one misleading his congration & dragging down His annointing? U come out as canvasing. U r not God yourself last I checked so allow God's plan 2 be... I don't think it is right 2 do what u did, God trusted us 2 make dicisions. Don't mess up the routine tu & people please re-read the last 4 verses in the bible & remember who u r... Also read 2 understand Matthews 10 verse 40-42 & go do your homework properly please b4 pointing your fingers... Who do u work for? Do u choose 2 give praise 2 the devil rather than it goes 2 a servant of God? Who am I 2 say anything agaisnt u ey?
