Times Of Swaziland: NO ONE IS OUT - ESWATINIBANK MD NO ONE IS OUT - ESWATINIBANK MD ================================================================================ BY CHRIS DLAMINI on 15/03/2019 08:08:00 EZULWINI – The 24 teams that got knocked out of the EswatiniBank Cup are still very much in the tournament. This was the impression given by EswatiniBank Managing Director Zakhele Lukhele during the club PROs and CEOs’ networking event at Mantenga Cultural Village on Wednesday evening. The bank hosted the officials and presented them with merchandise in the form of T-shirts. In his remarks, Lukhele said this was an informal day in which they got to know each other better in a relaxed environment with one common purpose - to contribute towards the development of football through the EswatiniBank Cup. “At the end of this event, we should at least have a better understanding of what is expected from the various stakeholders of the tournament. You play an important role in marketing your teams and promoting the tournament as well. We thank you for that. knocked “Some teams got knocked out early and now we have eight but it’s good to see the likes of Magidza still with us. Your teams only lost but are still the tournament as we also have the Prepaid Card and Debit Car Promotions,” he said. Lukhele said the team that will have most accounts and Prepaid Cards bought would be presented with E20 000 at the end of the tournament. Last year, it was by Mbabane Highlanders who were knocked out by Matsapha United in the Last 16. Matsapha won 1-0. He further explained that there were cash prizes for fans and members of the public who would go for the Debit and Prepaid Cards. The first prize is E1 000, E700 for second and E500 for third. “I therefore encourage supporters to open the accounts and/or buy Prepaid Cards, which they will own and use for a lifetime. Do it today for yourself, family, loved ones and even your favourite team,” he said. He also thanked the media for its coverage of the tournament and further encouraged the teams’ officials to go out there and mobilise the nation and supporters to fill the stadium as the Solo Inje edition continues. Before closing, Lukhele made note of Mbabane Swallows’ Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) Act lessons, which they took from the police they had requested to educate them about it last week. He said all clubs should assist in sensitising the nation against women and child abuse by conveying the message through to their supporters.
