Times Of Swaziland: WE DON’T KNOW WHERE RAMODIBEDI IS - LESOTHO WE DON’T KNOW WHERE RAMODIBEDI IS - LESOTHO ================================================================================ BY SABELO MAZIBUKO on 23/06/2015 07:43:00 MBABANE – Lesotho’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Tlohang Sekhamane, said they were not aware of Michael Ramodibedi’s whereabouts. Sekhamane was sought for clarity following comments made by Swaziland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mgwagwa Gamedze, when he left Swaziland that when they delivered the message from His Majesty King Mswati III to Lesotho’s King Letsie III; the fired Chief Justice (CJ) was expected to be present. However, Sekhamane said they did not know where Ramodibedi was. “I don’t know whether Ramodibedi is in Lesotho or South Africa. You know when he was in Lesotho, he was living in South Africa so I don’t know where he is now,” said Sekhamane. On another note, the Lesotho minister said that country’s government was happy that their countryman and fired former Swaziland CJ was not arrested in the country. The embattled Ramodibedi was fired last Wednesday for serious misbehaviour. Sought for comment yesterday on latest developments about the fired CJ, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations in Lesotho said the Government of Lesotho was happy that Ramodibedi was not arrested in Swaziland. “We are very happy that he was released. However, the delegation we had earlier sent to Swaziland was not there to advocate that he be released without being arrested. That was not the agenda.
