DUSTY AND STONES RELEASE NEW SINGLE

MBABANE – Dreams are now a reality for country music duo Dusty and Stones, as
their new single was produced in the USA.
The duo is made of Linda Stones Msibi and Gazi Dusty Simelane.
The new single which was produced by Nashville-based Jimmy is a love song titled
‘Mbali Lenhle’.
The collaboration was sparked by a Facebook post by the duo where Jimmy showed
his interest in working with them and offered to be part of the recording.
Msibi said they had initially met him in Nashville in USA during their trip to
the Texas Sounds International Awards.
“He was part of the band that played in three of our songs that we recorded in
Nashville including ‘The common guy’ hit single.
The two always had a heart for performing overseas and collaborating with
international acts.
While talking about the single, Stones said it was recorded at Semitone Records
in Manzini early this year.

He said recording was not yet done and they were not sure when the new single
would be ready for the market.
“We are taking our time and not in a rush. Jimmy is a busy person as he is
currently on tour with Garth Brooks,” he said.
He said the collaboration reflected the fruits of the network they made during
their trip to Texas where they were nominated for a Texas Sounds International
Award for Best Duo which they won.
These are the same awards Cleopatra has been nominated in.
“We are back in the studio and even hungrier for more success. We are looking
forward to working with all the good people we have met in this music
journey,” he added.
He said communications with the international artist were done through emails
and social media platforms.
