E100 000 FOR MTN SWAMA BEST COMEDIAN 2018 WINNER

MBABANE – A whopping E100 000 sponsorship is up for grabs for the Best Comedian in the 2018 MTN SWAMA Awards. 
The 2018 Best Comedian is expected to take home this prize which consists of a tour in Zanzibar.

Thanks to Let’s Go Zanzibar who have partnered with the Swaziland Arts and Music Association (SWAMA) and Swazi MTN in making the awards a success.

Unveiled

The sponsorship is expected to be unveiled on Saturday during the MTN SWAMA Awards Nominee Launch. 
The event will be held at the Royal Swazi Sun in Ezulwini.

Last year the company sponsored the Song of the Year category which was won by ‘Tigi’ fame artist Sands.
This year, Let’s Go Zanzibar felt there should be a change in as far as the category is concerned. It was agreed that another category be sponsored and it should be the Best Comedian category.

Melusi ‘Zox’ Dlamini, SWAMA President, confirmed the sponsorship, saying the artists will get to know about the prize this Saturday.
“Let’s Go Zanzibar has once again partnered with the MTN SWAMA Awards this year. The Best Comedian will get a sponsorship worth E100 000 which comes with a tour of Zanzibar,” he said.

Exciting

He said it was exciting to have such partners who had the interest of arts.
“If there would be more partners like this, the art industry would improve big time. I also want to thank Swazi MTN for believing in the artists and definitely we are prepared to make our sponsor proud,” he said.
