MBABANE - What was meant to be the hottest show of the Easter weekend became a frustration for patrons as they constantly complained about the sound system at Solanis Shisanyama on Sunday.

The show which was  headlined  by Sands and Bholoja kicked off at around 4pm with deejays entertaining guests with their music sets. The various deejays did justice to almost all the music genres as they played  a fusion of house music, old school kwaito and hip hop, with occasional jazz being played here and there.
When Bholoja went on stage fans were excited to see him as they cheered as soon as he was announced.

They rushed to the stage front to listen to him but soon started straying away from the front of the stage because the sound system was not up to scratch. A lot of patrons were heard complaining that it sounded as if the artists were far and that they sounded as if they were still at rehearsal, because of the mic echo. “This is embarrassing. Why didn’t they ensure the sound was perfect because right now it sounds like a rehearsal rather than the main show? Why were they not making sure that the sound was flawless knowing well that on Easter weekends Swaziland is home to tourists who will not take us seriously after this,” enquired one patron.

Others were heard asking what was happening elsewhere as the vibe was slow, while some said they were not going to accept paying E150 and not getting their money’s worth.
There were constant glitches with the sound as sometimes it would completely blackout.
