she's got a body that re sembles that of a catwalk queen and striking eyes coupled with a smile that makes one appreciate that she is in fact a natural beauty.

This is none other than UNISWA Mbabane campus’ Miss Freshers, Gabsile Precious Zwane, who also happens to be the current Miss UNISWA First Princess.

During the recently held Miss UNISWA contest Gabsile also won the Miss Photogenic title and was the crowd’s favourite to take the crown home.

Born and raised in Siteki, Gabsile is a former Manzini Nazarene High School pupil. She did her primary at Assembles of God Primary School and her secondary at Swazi National High School. She is the second born from a family of three where she is the only daughter.

Confident

During an interview with Gcwala, Gabsile who is pursuing a Nursing Science course at the university had four words that best describe her: Confident, Outgoing, Well behaved, and Friendly.

"Given the opportunity I would join the Miss Swaziland beauty contest and not for the fun of it but to snatch the crown," she said with a smile.

Gabsile has always drooled about being a model but never got to give it a try since she has always been at boarding schools.

"I love modelling big time just that I haven’t had the chance to join a modelling agency as I have always been at boarding school," she said.

Great

She went on to tell of her experience at the Miss UNISWA contest. "It was one great experience and I enjoyed myself very much especially during rehearsals where I made a lot of friends too," she continued.

About the contest itself Gabsile said the competition was very tight.

"However, I was confident and felt like I had everybody under my control," she recalled. "I was even more excited to make it to the top three."

Gabsile says being Miss UNISWA First Princes gives her a platform to motivate other young people out there, especially the youth, and be a good role model as well. "To me it’s not about beauty but believing in yourself and having an impact on other people’s lives. It is for that reasons that I have ideas about charity projects too," said the beauty.

Being Miss UNISWA First Princess has stirred quite a lot of attention from the guys. "Some want to befriend me and just recently one guy in town approached saying he had been wishing to see me live," she said.

Boring

The Miss UNISWA First Princess says despite being someone who has never seen the inside of a club, she is not a boring person at all.

"I’m into parties more than clubbing. I’m actually fun to be with and I love hip hop, deep house, gospel, and our local hip hop music," she told Gcwala.

Her favourite male hip hop stars are T.I, Drake, and Eminem. "In rating the three I would say I would marry T.I., date both Drake and Emimen of which none of them would be dumped," she said as she laughed.

Among her favourite local musicians are KrTC and Three Steps.

Emotions

Every person experiences different moments and for our lovely princess when she is upset she cries herself to sleep.

"I’m always open with my emotions and I make it a point to tell that person who might have crossed me about how I feel. But when I’m excited I get very talkative," she said with big smile.

Do you agree with the suggestion by Senator Moi Moi Masilela that traditional healers (tinyanga) should be regulated like medical doctors?
