MBABANE – A local clothing label known as Swazi Jive has agreed to be the official brand that dresses all the artists under the Blaque Creations stable which houses hip hop artist, Diba Diba.
Swazi Jive was founded in 2009 by Sakhile ‘S’kay’ Nkambule alongside Lindelo Dlamini who are both former students of Waterford KaMhlaba. Swazi Jive clothing is a huge part of the Swazi Jive enterprise which consists of Swazi Jive music among other ventures. The brand’s ambassador has always been Swaziboy’s hip hop spinner DJ Tenderness who recently appeared on Channel O’s Basement show.
This year Swazi Jive clothing is venturing into snap baseball caps, jackets and fragrances among other items and will be available via its website swazijive.blogspot.com and www.swazimarket.com.
The label will be available in shops such as Lino’s (Mbabane Mall), Krazy Monkey Urban Wear, Anelism Boutique (Mbabane Mall) and online orders can be made with free delivery for people around Mbabane.
"We are happy with the developments with the Swazi Jive founders and are glad to be a part of their success story. As the Blaque Creations family we will wear the label with pride and will try promoting it as much as we possibly can," said the Blaque Creations co-founder Sipho Makhanya.
Some of the artists in the Blaque Creations stable include Diba Diba, Bernalee, NR as well as The Prodigal Sons.
