‘BIRDS’ SEEK REDEMPTION

MBABANE – Giants Mbabane Swallows’ search for their first point of the season continues when they host unpredictable Moneni Pirates this afternoon.

It is not any easy assignment but the need for the capital city giants to start collecting points, if they are serious about making an impact this season, cannot be overstated.

They will miss inured playmaker, Felix Badenhorst, but it will be no excuse for another lacklustre performance. Full focus shifts to the league games after missing out on defending the Castle Premier Challenge last week.
The opposition has always proven to be a hard nut to crack for Swallows.

There was no winner when the two sides last met in a league encounter towards the end of the past season as the game ended 1-all.
Pirates will come to the clash with their tails up after a good day in office in the 2-1 win over RSSC United.

They would want to prove that their win was no fluke.

Eyes will be on trusted midfielder, Stanford Ncube, to frustrate his former employers. It promises to be another nail-biting clash.
