COACH MANDA MUM ON SACKING

MBABANE – It seems sacked Manzini Wanderers coach Charles Manda is yet to come to terms with the unfortunate decision.

A day later, the Malawi-born mentor was still reluctant to comment on the dismissal. Wanderers took a decision to sideline the soft-spoken mentor on Wednesday night after a string of poor results.

Manda kept on saying the maroon and white outfit were the right people to shed light on the move. “There is nothing I can say. Maybe Wanderers can say anything,” was all he could say.

He also did not want to commit himself when asked if Wanderers had communicated the decision to sideline him.
The coach’s agent, TZD Sports and Events Management Director, Zakhele Dlamini, was also not available for comment as his phone repeatedly rang unanswered. The last attempt was made at 6:41pm.

Manda was in charge of the team in four games in all competitions, with two consecutive stalemates against Manzini Sundowns and RSSC in the MTN Premier League his best results.
He came on board  on July 2 this year on a one-year performance-based contract.
