MANZINI – The four taekwondo coaches from South Korea have observed that local artists lack confidence and are too shy to perform.

The quartet of Hyein Lee, Eunsoo Lee, Minhyeok Kim and Jinwon Heo watched as over 10 artists were being graded yesterday. They arrived in the country on Thursday and they will be here for a month.

Speaking on behalf of the coaches, Swaziland Taekwondo Association (STAss) President Bongani Manyatsi said the coaches observed that most of the artists were good but they had to improve their performance.

Manyatsi said the coaches said the local artists should start believing in themselves and be proud of what they were doing.
He said they were happy with the attendance and the passion they saw from the artists.
“They are now aware of our problems since they were present during the grading.

“The camp will greatly help us and we believe by the time they leave, will would have gained a lot,” he said. The camp will start tomorrow.
“The month-long training camp will be held at Bosco Skills Center main hall.
“We invite all artists to attend without fail. There is a lot that we stand to benefit,” he said.
