BUFFALOES RECALL NHLANHLA GWEBU
MBABANE – Young Buffaloes have recalled their prodigal son, goal minder Nhlanhla Gwebu.
The Sihlangu number one shot-stopper who spent last season at Moneni Pirates has been ordered to return to the team.
His return to the army side was confirmed by Buffaloes PRO Sandile Gwebu, who said they have recalled all their players.
“We have recalled all players who belong to Young Buffaloes. He (Nhlanhla) is a Young Buffaloes player, hence he is part of the team and they are already at preseason training with the team,” stated Sandile.
Some of the Young Buffaloes players who were sent out on loan spells last season include speedy striker Mphumuzeni Dlamini who was at Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos and midfielder Sabelo Hlatshwako who was with Malanti Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Moneni Pirates PRO Sifiso Masuku said he was not aware of the Gwebu matter.
“I have not been contacted with regard to any such communication from Young Buffaloes. We are yet to discuss such issues with them because they also have a player who belongs to us. We will engage them in discussions over such matters,” Masuku said.
On another note, Sandile mentioned that they would be stepping up their game in as far as the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup voting is concerned, saying that they would soon topple early leaders Manzini Wanderers from the top of the charts.
