The tournament, which this year trades under the tagline Itak’seta WayaWaya, was officially declared on by Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala. Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation Managing Director Petros Dlamini announced the package which indicates an increase of E301 440 from last year’s E1 700 000.

“The 2014 Swazi Telecom Charity Cup sponsorship package, honourable minister, stands at a whopping E2 001 440. He also thanked the PLS for reserving the two glorious days for a soccer spectacular saying that what was achieved in a day would take others a lifetime to achieve.
