MBABANE – Royal Leopard striker Barry Steenkamp looks set to reclaim the top spot in the scorers’ chart.

The lanky forward is now on nine goals after netting a brace in the hard-fought 3-2 win against Manzini Sea Birds over the past weekend. Still on top is Malanti Chiefs forward, Sandile Hlatshwako, after visiting the back of the net ten times.

The battle for the ‘Golden Boot’ award is tightly contested as four players are on seven goals. These are Solomon Oladele of Green Mamba, Ndumiso ‘King Masetha’ Dlamini of Moneni Pirates, Manzini Wanderers’ Sandile ‘Theo’ Motsa and Mbabane Swallows forward, Sabelo Ndzinisa. The award was won by Young Buffaloes striker, Nhlanhla ‘Mshengu’ Kunene with 17 goals while at Malanti Chiefs last season. The winner of the ‘Golden Boot’will walk away with E7 700.
