GO, APPLY YOUR KNOWLEDGE – SPORTS ADMINISTRATORS TOLD

LOBAMBA – The 28 sports administrators who graduated last Friday night at the OlympAfrica Centre have been urged to apply what they learned from the Level 1Sports Administration Course.

SOCGA Secretary General Muriel Hofer told the graduands on the night that they must ensure that their constituencies practiced what was taught to them.
“This is the beginning of your journey to improving sports in the country as very soon we won’t be allowing unqualified people as administrators,” she said.

Trained

She said a number of people have been trained by the Swaziland Olympic and Commonwealth Games but it was disappointing the most were not even in any executive boards yet that is the target.
Sports Council Acting CEO Darius Dlomo also congratulated the latest group to have the Level 1 certificate saying the country was in dire need of trained administrators.
He said as learning never stops, the administrators should also go for Level 2 when the time comes.
