THE BELIEF IS BACK MAWESELI!

Letisematseni……eitaaaaa, letisematseni….eitaaaaaa, liWeseli liyashayana kulamalanga. I’m so excited maWeseli that is why ngingena ngelivi laMnotfo amemetela letisematseni kulamalanga. If there is a PRO who is overwhelmed with joy these days its none other than Mr. G and I swear, more good news are coming maWeseli.

On Saturday I was at Mhlume where the Manzini Wanderers family converged to watch libhola lekuDula against Green Mamba. We did very well thanks to imoto entjontji mali for scoring that all important goal. The following day I was at Prince of Wales in Mbabane to watch our future pride, the Under-20 boys. Again as usual, these boys were a marvel to watch. The MD and Mr. Ndlazi were also there.

They thrashed RSSC United  3-0. At 1pm I rushed to TB Centre Matsapha to watch our ladies team against Buffaloes, they thrashed Buffaloes 4-3. I was impressed by the comeback from bo sisi betfu because when I arrived they were trailing 3-2 but after hearing my voice on the stands they upped the gear, inspired by lizinyane S’bahle, they scored two quick goals to win the game. All the teams under the umbrella of Manzini Wanderers Football Club respect the maroon and white jersey.

They wear it with pride and they have shown that they are ready to die for it. It is up to us now Maweseli to support them all the way until we lift every trophy we campaign for. A big thank you to Mr. Mabila and his MC in making sure that preparations for the very game are up to scratch. You have seen how happy the MD was when S’dumo scored that goal. The Times of Swaziland Tuesday’s edition has shown him emotionally celebrating the goal. It is so encouraging to the supporters to see the leadership of the team attending games and being so emotionally involved. This gives proof that labantfu labadzala abalali bacabanga lelicembu lekuDula busuku nemini, bafuna emachinga kutsi yini lokufute bakwente kuze libuyele esimeni salo.

Next game

Our next game is against RSSC United at Big Bend at 5pm. We are sorry that the game has to start so late it’s because of the scorching heat in the Lubombo region. Those supporters who have attended training can attest that the spirit is high with the players, there is no room for complacency now as every game is like a cup final. The coaches are drilling them in all aspects of the game hence I am saying; “Liyeza Liweseli, wena loshaywa luvalo”. Remember last week I said the coach has dubbed the second round ‘Operation Pay Back Time’. RSSC United you are next after Pirates and Green Mamba respectively. Bring back our three points with three goals or more interest. Let us all go down to Big Bend Maweseli and remember, this is our game, we are hosting.

Team news

MaWeseli let me officially report to you that our foreign players have got problems with their work permits, that is why they are not available these days but the MC is working tirelessly to help them renew them. Msimisi Ncanywa, Machawe Dlamini and Mbongeleni Ntshakala are now registered players of the team. It is up to the coach to use them now.

U-20 and Ladies team

As I’ve said earlier, our Under-20 team won against RSSC United  at Prince of Wales, maWeseli I’m still begging for support from you. These are our future stars. During our games we will have coin boxes moving around the stadium, please drop any amount maWeseli, it will go a long way in helping the young boys and the ladies’ team. The MD and Ndlazi, while watching the under 20 boys, agreed on registering one of the boys with the senior team. He is still 15 but a marvel to watch. The coach even gave him E50 as a ‘man of the match’ award. All the boys did very well and I’m sure the senior team will benefit a lot from this development team. Boys, you are back in the summit of the log and keep it that way until the end of the season.

With the ladies team I would like to congratulate our four sisters for being selected to join the national woman side. These are Princess S’bahle, Simphiwe Simelane, Gcinile Zwane and Celiwe Nkhambule. We are so proud of you girls, hope you will represent this big family very well while with the national team. Last but not least maWeseli, let us all congratulate our former MD Mr. Vuli Kunene for joining the Babaland. Thank you Timandze for leading by example. Hope more Weslians will do so, all the best with your family and safe journey back to the United States of America.
“God Bless Wanderers Family”
