MBABANE - It is all spades out as forces giants Green Arrows and Spears are set to face each other in a league encounter today.

Elangeni High School Hall shall witness the much anticipated battle between His Majesty’s Correctional Services (HMCS) darts teams. This encounter is scheduled for 1pm. Thereafter, Spears would face rookies Municipal Council of Manzini in the second round. Meanwhile, Arrows go head to head with Remnants.

Both giants are fresh from securing victories when the Eswatini National Darts Association (ENDA) season commenced last weekend. Defending champions Green Arrows won their first game against the Scorpions 19-4. They further secured a victory against fellow side Sweet Roses 22-1.

In addition, Green Spears defeated Mbabane City 17-6. They further rubbed salt to minnows Rockets walking over the team with 22-1. Rockets, who are still finding their foot on the ground, had earlier suffered an automatic defeat of 0-23 against Sweet Roses. Roses are the name of HMCS female team. ESRIC was said to renew its partnership with ENDA by injecting E150 000 this season.

Last season’s runners-up Malkerns are also out to ensure the title returns home after being dethroned. This weekend would see the side face Smesh and Bonz during the first round. They then battle against Sharp Shooters in the second. Malkerns had a landslide victory the past weekend against Eco Water, securing 17-6 against the team. They also proved dominance against Umlilo defeating the team 21-2.
