EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR NEW TECHNICAL CENTRE OPENED

MBABANE – The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) is inviting consultants interested in constructing the Nkonga Technical Centre to express their interest.

The last technical centre will be constructed near Mafutseni in the Manzini region. EFA has announced that interested parties have until Friday, April 26, 2024, to indicate their interest, according to a notice released on Thursday.

“An expression of interest is hereby invited from suitably qualified consultants for the Eswatini Football Association Technical Centre, to be implemented in the Manzini Region in the Kingdom of Eswatini,” reads an excerpt from EFA’s expression of interest notice. The notice further states that interested consultants must hand-deliver their sealed and completed tenders in envelopes at Sigwaca House in Mbabane.

“EFA does not bind herself to the acceptance of the lowest or any expression of interest,” the notice further reads.
This will be the fifth technical centre in the country, following those situated at Lobamba, Nhlangano in King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, KaLanga and Mkhuzweni near Buhleni. The construction of the technical centres is FIFA-funded under the Forward Programme. The last to be completed, Mkhuzweni Technical Centre, was constructed at an estimated value of E35 million.
