MANZINI – The Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Bongani Nzima, envisions a bright future for Sihlangu.

The minister expressed his optimism after attending the highly-anticipated derby at Mavuso Sports Centre yesterday. The match between Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders ended in a thrilling 1-all draw. Today, we witnessed a display of beautiful football, which was truly a game of two halves. “Highlanders dominated the first half, while Swallows exhibited an aggressive attack in the second half,” said the minister.

Promising

Nzima, watching the two teams battle it out, could foresee a promising future for the national team. “There is a bright future for Sihlangu, but we must invest in grassroots development, ensuring continuity in the constellation of stars we possess,” Nzima added.  Among the dignitaries present were, Members of Parliament (MPs) Nathi ‘Mdockies’ Hlophe  and Bhekibandla Vilakati who served in football before joining the august House.
