SIBUSISO OUT OF ’LANDERS CLASH

MBABANE – Manzini Sea Birds have been dealt a blow ahead of their game against Mbabane Highlanders.

This is after their trusted defender Sibusiso Dlamini got his third yellow card during their previous MTN Premier League game against Manzini Wanderers. The game was played last week at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground. It ended in a 2-all draw. The hard tackling defender has been a regular at Izinyoni Zolwandle since joining them from Mbabane Highlanders a few seasons back. According to the MTN Premier League Rules and Regulations, once a player accumulates three yellow cards, he is suspended for one game. This means that Dlamini will miss the clash against Highlanders.

The game will be played tomorrow at Mavuso Sports Centre. Kick-off time is 3:30pm.In terms of the Article 9.2(1.1) of the MTN Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) rules and regulations, the player becomes automatically suspended from participating in the next one match to be played by his team after he accumulating three yellow cards.

Interesting

The game will be interesting to watch as Sea Birds will be seeking to return to its winning ways, while Highlanders will be hoping to maintain their fine run. Highlanders beat Nsingizini Hotspurs 1-0 last weekend at Mavuso Sports Centre, while Sea Birds were held to a 2-all draw. Other interesting elite league matches includes that of Mbabane Swallows who will take on Tambankulu Callies. The game will start at 1pm. It will be played at the Mavuso Sports Centre. Wanderers who got their first point against Sea Birds, will be hoping to maintain or do better when they face defending champion Royal Leopard. The game will be played at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, kick-off time is 1pm. Nsingizini Hotspurs will have a date with Moneni Pirates on the same venue; kick-off time is 3:30pm
