MBABANE – The MTN Premier League is set for a thriller this weekend.

The MTN Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) week six fixtures have got some interesting games, as the E100 000 first round ‘carrot’ chase gets heated. Fans are set for enthralling games on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre, as the country’s heavyweights and arch-rivals are set for tricky fixtures at this venue. Mbabane Highlanders are set prove their worth against Nsingizini Hotspurs, who slayed defending champions Royal Leopards 1-0 yesterday. They are tied up with 10 points with Hotspurs with a single game on hand.

On-form Mbabane Swallows are set to revenge on behalf of their arch-rivals, Highlanders who have kissed the dust twice to Moneni Pirates this season in the MTN league and MoMo Cup, respectively. Swallows completed a double over the ‘Sea Robbers’ last season and they are currently occupying the third spot.

On Saturday, the league is set for a Manzini derby delight billed for Prince of Wales Sports Ground. Manzini Wanderers will cross swords with Manzini Sea Birds in a hope to end their jinx in the season. Meanwhile, National First Division (NFD) Sisonke who are tied with six points with Rangers at the summit of the log table will be all out to cement their top spot at the expense of newcomers All Nations. All Nations have fired blanks in their two games played. This game is set for Saturday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. Rangers on the other hand, have a tricky outing as they visit Malanti Chiefs on the same day at Killarney Sports Ground. Both sides were relegated from the Premier League in the past season.
