MBABANE – Malanti Chiefs is set for another National First Division (NFD) ‘derby’ this afternoon, without their Head Coach Raymond Dlamini.

After last week’s derby with Pigg’s Black Swallows, Chiefs take newly-promoted side, Kappa Kappa from the Northern Hhohho region like Malanti Chiefs. The clash for the three points is billed for Killarney Stadium at 3:30pm in Pigg’s Peak. This will be Chiefs’ second game without the services of their senior coach, as even last week he was absent. His assistant Sihle Mavimbela was also not in the picture. Malanti drew 1-all with Black Swallows while Kappa Kappa drew 0-0 with Shooting Stars.

Their absence, it was established was centred around contracts to resume work, as they were not yet attached but a meeting was yet to take place. Dlamini led Malanti last season when they were relegated. Chiefs and Kappa Kappa will cross swords, with the former occupying the seventh spot on the standings while the rookies are 11th. Efforts to get Malanti’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Lungile Dlamini proved futile. Meanwhile, fans will also watch Black Swallows and Milling Hotspurs at 1pm.  Both teams played to draws last weekend. Entry fee will be E40 per fan.
