MANZINI- They are here for victory.

That is the statement made by Coton Sport Head Coach Ernest Agbor at Enjabulweni School Sports Ground during their training session ahead of their first leg of the TOTALEnergies CAF Champions League clash against Royal Leopard. The game will be played at Mavuso Sport Centre and kick-off time is 3pm tomorrow. The Cameroon side arrived yesterday morning at King Mswati (KM) III International Airport and they proceeded to The George Hotel, where they are booked. Today they will familarise themselves with Mavuso Sports Centre where they will train at 6pm before match day tomorrow. “Coton is a big team; we know what is at stake in this tournament. We have a clear mandate on what we want to achieve in this tournament. We want to qualify to the group stage,” said Agbor.

Asked if that was achievable at the expense of Leopard, he said; “We respect Leopard, they are a good side and the game will be difficult, but we are here for positive results”. He went on to say that the team was well prepared ahead of the clash. “We have been active and the finals we played back at home helped us to sharpen us for this game. We have a full squad and all the players are ready,” he said.

Joining

Asked about his take on joining a big team like Coton, he said; “I am happy to be part of a big team, they are team with rich history and I know what is expected of me. The whole technical bench has welcomed me with warm hands and we are here to work and play in the highest level in football.”
The coach recently joined the side and has been in charge for the past four games and in the process, he has managed to guide the side to a domestic cup win. Asked about what they know about the opponents, he said; “The fact that they have reached this stage means they deserve to play here. They also won the league and that tells you a lot about the team.
