MBABANE – “Our bodies need real, fresh food to maintain health.”

This famous quote by Louise Hay must have rang on Mbabane Swallows Management as they secured a E125 000 season long food supply courtesy of Eclipse Investment. This was revealed by Umkhonto KaShaka General Manager (GM) Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane yesterday during a press conference. The seasoned football administrator revealed that they had secured a new partnership with Eclipse Investments for the coming 2022/23 season. “Eclipse is still a growing company that we approached and offered to them business partnership ideas. We are happy that they accepted our proposal and agreed to partner with us,” Zwane said.

The former Mbabane Swallows goalkeeper revealed that the company would cater them with food worth E24 000 a month for the whole season, which amount to more than E100 000 per season. “We have signed a partnership for one season, off which after the season we will sit down and review,” he said. The erstwhile national team Manager thanked their new sponsor on behalf of the President, Bishop Bheki Lukhele, and promised to protect and market their brand well. He further urged the Swallows family to support the company and use it for catering services for events.

Meanwhile, Eclipse Marketing Manager Temalangeni Dlamini said they would provide good food to the players before and after games, as they have excellent dieticians. She then disclosed that they would have training to educate the players and management on how to take care of themselves.
“We also help the players on food to eat when injured to speed up the recovery process,” Dlamini said. She finally said they would inform the players on the ideal food to eat before and after the game as well as liquids to drink during a game.
