CHANGED ROUTE FOR KWAMAGOGO

MBABANE – The KwaMagogo Legacy Walk/ Run comes with new challenge for runners.

The 12th edition to be held on Saturday will have a changed route, as runners will be celebrating the newly-introduced 21km. The race will start at 6:30am at the usual venue, Number 43 House at Trelawney Park, with the finish line about 100m away from the start, Pendray Park. Runners to compete in the 10km will only run one lap while it will be two laps for the 21km athletes. Under the theme ‘Culture and Freedom’ the event will cover critical historical sites.

Road

It will go via the Manzini bypass road passing Mavuso Sports Centre heading towards Manzini Golf Course then coming back along the Bosco Skills Centre road. There are medals for everyone who finishes within one hour of the start – gold, silver and bronze. The race is professionally managed by Golden Foot Club (GFC), in conjunction with the Municipal Council of Manzini.
