MANZINI – “We can’t blame ‘Sikhali”’.

That was the immediate reaction of Mbabane Highlanders Managing Director Chief Ally Kgomongwe at Mavuso Sports Centre. He was commenting on their 1-1 draw with MTN Premier League leaders and defending champions Royal Leopard on Sunday afternoon. Kgomongwe could not leave without giving his view on the match and penalty missed. The team Captain and 21 goals scored forward; in 27 games, Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa hit the woodwork from the spot kick a few minutes into the second-half. “It’s not a miss we can cry about just because it’s Sikhali. Even Messi and Ronaldo miss penalties. It was unfortunate for the player and now we target the next match. Being champions of the league is still very possible so we’ll keep pushing hard to the last match,” Kgomongwe said. He mentioned that it was a great game of football. “I want to also congratulate the referees. This was no easy fixture but a life or death match, though they did well handling it,” he said. FIFA-accredited Letticia Viana led the team as the main referee.
