FIGUAREIDO SCORES IN TTM BIG WIN

MBABANE – The country’s international player Justice Figuareido was among the scorers for Cape Town All Stars when they bashed Tshakuma Tsha Madzivandila 5-0 yesterday during the GladAfrica Championships.

The national team, Sihlangu player scored the fourth goal in the 72th minute of the one sided match played at Athlone Stadium, Cape Town. It was a crucial win for Cape Town All Stars as they now seat third on the log with the same number of points with leaders Richards Bay and second placed University of Pretoria. Figuareido, who joined Cape Town All Stars from the DStv Premiership at the start of the season, was scoring his fourth goal for his team.

The former Denver Sundowns player is expected to be part of the national team, Sihlangu, that will start its campaign in the TOTALErnegies 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers billed to start at the end of the month. He was part of the team that beat Somalia in the preliminary round played last month. Figuareido will be back in action for his team on Sunday when they play Hungry Lions.
